Returnee Malcolm Clark, who has been away racing Legends for several years was also on the pace, while new boys Louis Wall (Jade Honda), eighteen year old Ben Davis (Anderson Honda) and Paul Von Gerard (F1 Honda) showed some good speed, with Louis claiming a second place in race 1.
The old guard of O'Reilly (PVP Viper Honda), Dredge (Anderson Honda) , Moss (Anderson Honda) , Dewart (Dewart Transport Anderson Honda) and Vaughan (Anderson Viper Honda) will have a fight on there hands at Pembrey if we see another repetition of Silverstone.
Jason Dredge leads the championship on 75 points with Martin Jones on 72, Malcolm Clark on 58 and defending champion James O'Reilly sharing fourth place on 52 with Richard Dewart.
Martin Jones and Louis Wall could be the ones to watch this year while Malcolm Clark cannot be discounted. He might be one of the older drivers on the grid but his years of racing in 125's have taught him a few tricks on how to deal with the younger drivers.
The 1.5 mile Welsh circuit will throw up all sorts of challenges with Honda Curve the biggest test. With any one of six drivers capable of winning, this weekends championship rounds are eagerly awaited. Once again the Superkarts could be the fastest vehicles on the race programme.
